Adam and Mike Bock at H-Town Performance

As always, when in Henderson, I must visit my friends at H-Town Performance.

The guys had me paint the teeth for the front of Adam and Mike Bock's custom side by side sand toy.

Once Dale Brand mounted the teeth, it transformed the front of the buggie into an angry face.

Here's a photo of Adam and Mike with their buggie, in front of Marv and Dale's shop.

Cobras

Francis H. Cortney Junior High School Cobras wanted a design to honor all Cobra Class Presidents. With the help of the principal, faculty, and Dean of Students, Chris Miller, we came up with this Cobra design and lettering, which serves as a seal of approval.

Both sides are surrounded by all student body presidents, past and present, and enough room for future presidents for years to come.

Good job Cobras!

Navigators

Shawn arrived in Las Vegas and headed to Lied Middle School, "The Navigators".

I thought a ship's captain "navigating" would be a great idea for a mural, and incorporated an alligator, which the school had already adopted as their mascot, making them the Navigators, as the captain. I wanted to make this gator strong in appearance and confident, and not so sinister.

When creating art in a public place, where people are coming and going, like this busy office of Leid Middle School, it is always interesting to hear the comments and ideas of people watching as the hours go on. By the final hour, with the completion of the art, I think everyone was happy with the outcome.

Gail Rowe, Shawn Ealy, and Teryl Harrison.
These very nice ladies, and new friends, tolerated the noise of my airbrush, and still kept the office running smoothly. When you visit Lied, you will have to say hi to Gail and Teryl.

Here is Shawn with long-time friend, Mrs. Kim Bass-Davis.
Thank you, Kim, and special thanks to all Navigators.

Shawn also added lettering to the office hallways and display areas.

Shane Stewart

Shawn spent less than two weeks at a cabin in the Midwest. But, this wasn't just any old cabin. This is the most incredible cabin in the Midwest, located just outside of Tuscola, IL. Self-made millionare, Shane Stewart, owner and builder of the cabin, contacted artist, Shawn Ealy to put some final details on his already incredible 15,200 square foot home.

This is a view of the cabin from the back deck.
The house features many rooms, each one well thought through by Shane. The downstairs has a bar, a gathering and entertaining room, and even a movie theater. This house has 32 TVs, including the movie room. No, not 32 inch TVs. 32 flat screen TVs, ranging from 65" down to a few as small as 42".

The cabin also has an amazing pool room, with a 2,400 sq ft pool in a 3,200 sq ft room. The room also includes a water slide and a hot tub.

Shane's house has an oversized 3 car attached garage. Another detached garage has a full kitchen and is a great hang out area with all the comforts of a home and features that look like the interior of any house.

The attention to detail is incredible, with many handmade furniture items and clever ideas, like rope trim, that Shane came up with. Not to mention the massive tree that is stationed right inside the middle of the house.

Shane is a person that pays great attention to detail, which is why he commissioned artist, Shawn Ealy, to paint many items in the house, including this incredible mural. Shawn spent the last 2 weeks of January at the cabin, creating a flowing mural on 3 separate garage doors.

The first scene features 3 life-like wolves, standing on the snow-filled ground, among the trees. The steam coming from their breath displays how cold the temperature is, and the purple and blue shadows tell that the time of day is just around sunset on an overcast day.

Shane and Jody's girls had a blast running through the trees from the life-like wolves.

The next scene shows 2 large buffalo, one standing in the snow, and the other is laying down on the frozen ground. Again, the steam rolling from their noses indicates the frigid temperature, and the detail in the shadowing of their fur is extremely intricate.

Also, the shadowing in the geese, flying overhead, shows which ones are flying close by, and which ones are farther away.

The last scene ties it all together with more life-like wolves and geese flying overhead. In the background, Shawn airbrushed the Stewart cabin.

With many more ideas in mind, this will not be the last time Shawn will be seen at Shane Stewart's cabin. Keep checking to see what he will add to his collection next.

Mr. B - Owner of Indy Exotics

Mr. B is the owner of "Indy Exotics", which is well known for the cars they have built for many famous people like Burt Reynolds and Dolly Parton. They have even built many motorcycles, including some for Jesse James of West Coast Choppers.
Mr. B came out to see Shawn with a project.
"Mr. B said 'I bet I have something you have never painted on before.' I assured him that I have painted on everything...or so I thought. 'Well', Mr. B said, 'I would like for you to design my eye.' You see, Mr. B has a glass eye and wants a Shawn Ealy designed eye, with graphics and flames. He said I can do what I want, so the next time you see Mr. B, take a close look at his custom airbrushed eye! It has to be one of the coolest things ever."

Thank you, Mr. B.

Mr. B of Indy Exotics and airbrush artist, Shawn Ealy.

Indianapolis, IN

Shawn spent last weekend in Indianapolis, Indiana airbrushing in the Irvington Shopping Plaza.

Owner, Darren, of In Tune Music Co., and his wife had Shawn airbrush T-shirts for them. To help them advertise their business with guitars, Shawn filled the shirts up with music notes and guitars.

"They were great to meet and I had fun working with them."

Chief AJ

Chief AJ has many world records-all involving his skill in shooting.

This photo shows a truckload of wooden blocks. Each block was thrown into the air and shot by Chief AJ, and not a single one was missed. Over 40,000 blocks were thrown and hit with a 22 caliber ruger rifle. Pretty Amazing.
Chief AJ also holds shooting records with other guns, and even a sling shot! Many of his latest records were achieved at the age of 70 and older. He is still in great shape and going strong. Shawn says, "His goal setting and achievements are a great inspiration" and wrote this for his friend, Chief.

Spirit of the Wind
For Chief AJ

He is the Spirit of the Wind.
His free and young spirit has inspired and tought young men to dream.
His drive and determination will teach you to be everything you dare to be.
His attitude and flare for life will tell you, Be proud of where you came from and never be afraid of who you are.
Be sure and certain of both of these and you have already come so far.
You will be glad to meet him, this Spirit of the Wind.
He will always shoot you straight, you will always call him friend.

-Shawn Ealy
