Robert Taylor Elementary Career Fair
Shawn spent a few hours at Robert Taylor Elementary, speaking to the students during their Career Fair.

The age of the groups ranged from Kindergarten to 5th grade.

Shawn introduced them to the airbrush, explained how he started his business, and showed them a few techniques.

"You can draw anything!" was one form of flattery that the students offered Shawn.

Shawn painted this tiger and donated it to the Robert Taylor Tigers. It will be on display in the new building.

"Shawn Ealy, an artist in Henderson, attended school at Robert Taylor in 1978. He started drawing before kindergarten, and has continued to do art his entire life. Shawn started his studio in 1988, immediately after graduating from Basic High School, making this year 20 years in the professional art field. Shawn is very involved with schools and their career fairs. His message to young people is “Believe in yourself, and you can achieve your goals. You will face challenges along the way, but never give up.” He is donating this painting on May 9, 2008."
