Todd's helmet
Todd brought in his flat black helmet for Shawn to airbrush. Todd has been a driving instructor at Mario Andretti Racing School for 3 years. His father, Buzz Tapply, was a race car driver, and after years of being around it, Todd began to show interest in it as well.

Shawn is seen prepping the helmet, getting it ready for paint.

Red and blue traditional flames cover the front and sides of the helmet.

The very front has a small blue pinstripe design. Towards the top of the helmet, silver flames cover the black background, which will help transition from the colorful flames to the silver sheet metal.

White highlights bring definition to the sheet metal on the top of the helmet.
Todd stopped by today to check out the progress, and helped Shawn come up with finishing touches.

On the very top of the helmet, Shawn couldn't decide what exactly he should do. Todd reassured him that skulls were the way to go. After Shawn finished the skulls, he surrounded them with a blue pinstripe design.

Shawn continued the pinstipes to the back of the helmet, and used red for a shredded outline.
