American Quad

Danny Sanders brought in his son, Colton's, quad for Shawn to paint. Colton has been away on a mission for the past 2 years. Danny promised this as a gift for Colton upon his return. Now that that time is nearing, Colton has sent a few simple requests, one of them being that no one is to paint the plastics, except for Shawn Ealy. Colton asked for the plastics to be American themed. Shawn is very happy to do this for Danny and Colton, and he hopes that when Colton returns, he is happy with his paintjob.

Shawn began the process by sanding down the parts.

Next, he airbrushed red and white on the ends, and will include stars to resemble the American flag.

Shawn is seen adding detail to the "US Air Force Thunderbirds" in formation, with a paintbrush.

Next to the 'Thunderbirds' is a ghosted image of the Statue of Liberty.

On the side, Shawn painted a ghost image of the head of an eagle.

Shawn airbrushed another ghosted image of the six men raising the American flag.

Though a ghosted image is hard to capture on camera, this close-up displays the Twin towners.
