Pin-up art for Mr. Baranowski

Ski contacted Shawn Ealy to do some more details on his SSR. He wanted a pinup girl on his new intake/ engine cover.

The only reference Shawn worked from were some notes and a black and white picture Ski mailed to him. This gave Shawn the ability to use his artistic freedom for the majority of the detail and the color scheme.

As you can see, the first step was to prep the surface, spray adhesion promotor, and the primer coat.

After the primer is dry, it is time to add the base color to match the red on Ski's SSR.

After this, the hours were spent detailing the pinup girl that decorates the front of the cover.

Shawn had an idea to use silver pearl flames as a mild background and pinstripes to top it off.

You'll have to see the full details of the girl when you see Ski at a show. Just ask to take a look under the hood.
