Sidwell's 1939 Farmall
"I am lucky to meet so many great people in my travels with my art. I got to meet Russ Sidwell at the Effingham County Fair in Altamont, IL. He brought me a picture of an antique farmall F-20 tractor along with a great story."
Russ' grandfather bought the tractor new in 1939, and it has stayed with the family after all these years. Russ spent an entire year restoring the tractor to its factory original condition, and his father was able to drive it proudly in their town's parade.
The tractor and this shirt is a tribute to Russ' father, Edward Sidwell.

What a blast from the past. I still recall going to antique tractor shows with Russ. He had some old John Deere tractors too. My grandson Austin has one of his antique model JDs from when we visited him in Illinois some ten years ago. You go Russ -- glad to see you are still active in the tractor business.
